May 10: Solo Bootcamp – Jesus and Erik

Are you ready to develop your solo dance, work with footwork and styling and learn a fun choreo? Then join Jesus & Erik for this unique bootcamp! 🥳 📣 Both for leaders and followers! Being a comfortable and creative solo dancer is the foundation for being a good dancer in partnerwork! During this bootcamp, Jesus & Erik will combine forces to teach you how you can use your feet and body, both in solo and in partnerwork. This solo workshop will give you the chance to work on your own dancing and to get the tools and resources you need to practice and refine on your own after, so you can continue practicing at home! 🙂

Deep dive into sensual technique with a focus on smooth side waves and head movements. We will break down the technique of side waves and “v waves” as well as head movements to create smooth movements with strong fundamental technique

TOPIC 2: Connecting movements & flow Build on the individual techniques from Topic 1 and learn how to connect these into a sensual flow. Learn to master this connection from an open frame to both lead and follow clearly in this frame.

Workshop 1: Turns & Spins. Learn how to clearly lead and follow common turns and spins in bachata, which you can use directly in your social dancing.

Ladies… This one is for you Welcome to a unique Saturday filled with amazing energy, feminine movement & smooth musicality!

Join Aina from Spain for this special bootcamp, designed for women who want to develop their solo dance, confidence & lady style. Aina is a top lady styler and instructor and will bring you lots of new inspiration, musical concepts & feminine energy

At the end of the bootcamp, we will record the choreography in smaller groups so that you will have an amazing memory to keep afterwards!

THE CONCEPT:

A bootcamp focused exclusively on lady style, giving you the tools to dance more smoothly, musically & creatively - both alone and in partnerwork. During the bootcamp, you will learn how to interpret the lyrics and musicality in a feminine way, combining flow, expression & precision. We will work with head movements, arm styling, body movement, footwork & details that will help you feel more confident, elegant and connected to the music. In the end, we will put it all together in a Choreo that we will film in small groups to give you a memory for life

12.15-13.15: Part 1 – Musicality, lyrics interpretation & feminine movement
