This course is for the high intermediate dancer who is comfortable with the essential techniques and elements from sensual bachata (front waves, side waves, head rolls, hip rolls etc) which we learn in Intermediate 1. In the course, we deep dive further into the world of Sensual Bachata technique. We will build on the techniques you already know and combine these in new ways, learn new variations etc to make your dance more controlled and fluod. By the end of the course, you will feel more confident and smooth in your social dancing. We recommend taking this level as long as is needed. The course material will not be repetitive between seasons. We recommend combining it with the Social Tools class.

During the Bootcamp, you will learn how to dance to different parts of bachata songs with style and confidence. The Bootcamp will be structured in 2 parts:PART 1: Anne Sofie will teach you how to dance with feminine movement and footwork to the energetic “mambo section” of bachata songs - the section common in bachata songs with pronounced musicality, lead by the guitar. You will learn footwork, styling and tips for dancing to these parts of the songs - also when dancing with a partner
PART 2: In this part, Ane will teach you how to dance with elegance and technique to the more lyrical parts of the songs - intros, outros and slow-down sections, where the instruments slow down and the melody and lyrics are most prominent. Originally developed in Madrid, The J&J LAB is a Jack & Jill training concept is designed to help dancers develop the key skills needed for improvisation and Jack & Jill / social competition dancing: musicality, connection, adaptability and improvisation. The goal is to create a space where dancers can actively train improvisation and learn to adapt to different partners in real time. In collaboration with Bachata House, The J&J LAB will be introduced in Denmark through a series of one-hour training sessions focused on these Jack & Jill skills. Each class is designed as a focused one-hour training and includes:
- Short warm-up or musicality activation
- Focus on one specific concept (musicality, connection, timing, creativity, reaction, etc.)
- Practical drills with partner rotation
- Improvisation exercises or Jack & Jill dynamics
- Spotlights or short simulations with feedback
