In the course, we will work with different combinations you can use in your social dance and focus on getting more smooth and comfortable when leading and following. We will also introduce to the first concepts of Bachata Sensual. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable and have more tools and figures for your social dance.

This course is for the new bachata dancer who has never danced bachata before, or for the dancer who wants to revisit the complete basics, for example after a longer break. In the course, we will start from the very beginning and work from the basic steps building up to simple combinations and introductions to the first concepts of Bachata Sensual. By the end of the course, you will be able to dance socially, using the figures and tools you have learned in class. If you are curious about the dance, you can come try the first class for free! The focus for the leader is usually on remembering leading technique, figures and steps, while making the follower shine. In this course, it’s about MAKING THE LEADER SHINE by giving you the tools to add your own style and flair when you dance
The focus of the course will be to dance solo as well as how to apply the solo work to your partnerwork.The course will be structured around essential themes for technique, body movement, musicality, footwork etc.! Trust us, you don't want to miss this opportunity

During this unique Intensive, Erik & Katinka will guide you through the world of sensual bachata, through fun partnerwork workshops focused on technique and flow in sensual bachata The Bootcamp will be centered around 3 topics that are essential in sensual bachata:
FRAME: Improve your leading and following technique through application of a correct frame - and explore the many cool movements this unlocks 
WAVES: Technique for waves (front waves, reverse waves, side waves) & creative application of waves in figures 
SENSUAL FLOW: Strengthen your sensual technique and flow by understanding and utilizing the transition between circular movements in a correct and creative way

Out of stockThis course is for the very advanced dancer who is has been dancing for many years. The course is also for bachata instructors who want to build both their dancing and teaching skills. In the course, we focus on advanced techniques and exercises, as well as on meta-learning, i.e. why we are doing what we are doing and how we can understand and teach it to others. The course is based on Sensual Bachata, but incorporates flavours from both sensual, fusion and dominican bachata.
