This course is for the advanced dancer who is comfortable with all the essential techniques from sensual bachata (front waves, side waves, head rolls, sensual basic etc) and is able to effortlessly use these in social dancing. In the course, we focus on advanced techniques, exercises, and figures built to play with and test technique. The course is based on Sensual Bachata, but incorporates flavours from both sensual, fusion and traditional bachata.

This course is for the new bachata dancer who has never danced bachata before, or for the dancer who wants to revisit the complete basics, for example after a longer break. In the course, we will start from the very beginning and work from the basic steps building up to simple combinations and introductions to the first concepts of Bachata Sensual. By the end of the course, you will be able to dance socially, using the figures and tools you have learned in class. If you are curious about the dance, you can come try the first class for free! Focus is on strengthening leading and following technique by introducing more combinations and concepts from modern and sensual bachata. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable in your dancing. We recommend taking this level once. If you don’t feel comfortable at the end of the course, you are always welcome to repeat it.
