In the course, we focus on advanced techniques and exercises, as well as on meta-learning, i.e. why we are doing what we are doing and how we can understand and teach it to others. The course is based on Sensual Bachata, but incorporates flavours from both sensual, fusion and dominican bachata.

This course is for the new bachata dancer who has never danced bachata before, or for the dancer who wants to revisit the complete basics, for example after a longer break. In the course, we will start from the very beginning and work from the basic steps building up to simple combinations and introductions to the first concepts of Bachata Sensual. In the course, we will work with different combinations you can use in your social dance and focus on getting more smooth and comfortable when leading and following. We will also introduce to the first concepts of Bachata Sensual. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable and have more tools and figures for your social dance.

The course is based on Sensual Bachata and you will learn all the Sensual Essentials – both techniques and moves as well as the tools to put them together in a smooth and fun dance. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable in your technique, your musicality and your footwork.

By the end of the course, you will feel more confident, smooth and creative in your social dancing.

Ane will bring all her experience from other dance genres, to make you a better general dancer, which will strengthen your foundation for bachata
You will learn an elegant choreo which will be filmed in class 7. However, the focus of the course will be not only on learning a choreography, but also on training your body to feel stronger, more stable, and more comfortable when dancing and dancing in heels.We’ll focus on:- Posture, Body movement & awareness
- Turn technique & control
- Balance and stability in heels
- Across-the-floor drills
- Core conditioning & floor exercises
- Expressiveness & confidence in performance
- Learning one choreography to bring all the elements together

Builds more variety and naturalness in your social dancing by giving you more tools and figures. Focus is on strengthening leading and following technique by introducing more combinations and concepts from modern and sensual bachata. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable in your dancing. We recommend taking this level once. If you don’t feel comfortable at the end of the course, you are always welcome to repeat it.

Continues building variety and naturalness in your social dancing by giving you more tools and figures from sensual and modern bachata. Focus is mainly on strengthening partner work technique while we also start working with solo techniques to improve body movement, styling and musicality. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable and creative in your dancing. We recommend taking this level once or twice. If you find the course easy, you can progress to level 4. If you are still challenged on this level, we recommend taking it again - the course material will be different over two seasons
