Builds more variety and naturalness in your social dancing by giving you more tools and figures. Focus is on strengthening leading and following technique by introducing more combinations and concepts from modern and sensual bachata. By the end of the course, you will feel more comfortable in your dancing. We recommend taking this level once. If you don’t feel comfortable at the end of the course, you are always welcome to repeat it.

This course is for the new bachata dancer who has never danced bachata before, or for the dancer who wants to revisit the complete basics, for example after a longer break. In the course, we will start from the very beginning and work from the basic steps building up to simple combinations and introductions to the first concepts of Bachata Sensual. By the end of the course, you will be able to dance socially, using the figures and tools you have learned in class. If you are curious about the dance, you can come try the first class for free! Lets get our feet moving
Footwork in bachata is so much more than just the 1-2-3-tap! During this workshop, Erik will teach you how you can use your feet to express your musicality, both in solo and in partnerwork.This solo workshop will give you the chance to work on your own dancing and to get the tools and resources you need to practice and refine on your own after! During the bootcamp, Erik will guide you to how this solo work can be applied to improve your partner dancing - both for leaders and followers
STRUCTURE OF THE BOOTCAMP:
The bootcamp will be focused on giving you a general understanding of the principles for applying footwork and shines in your dancing. In addition, it will give you concrete elements and sequences to put those principles into practice. To achieve these two goals, the program has two main parts:
PART 1: We will go through the essential footwork elements used in bachata to build your repertoire. In addition we will work with how these essential elements can can express and be adjusted to the music
PART 2: We will spend most of the bootcamp learning a solo choreo together. This is allow us to apply the principles taught in part 1 in action - while also learning a fun and challening choreography - building technique, muscle memory and repetoire. This ensures that you after the bootcamp can execute the elements you have learned with more ease and naturalness in your social dancing.

We will build these moments on the basis of strong technique and connection with your partner and you will learn how to dance with confidence and style
