This course is for the dancer who already has experience with bachata dancing and is ready to dive deeper into the traditional Dominican style. If you’re looking to develop your dancing, expand your musicality, and bring more flavor to your social dancing, this class is for you!

Throughout the course, we will focus on:

• Learning essential Dominican footwork and partner patterns
• Understanding musicality and how to use this in Dominican as well as modern music
• Expanding your knowledge of bachata and its history and roots, including merengue, bolero & son
• Building social dance skills – learning how to improvise, play, and have fun with your partner on the dance floor
